Here comes summer!

It's the time of year we start to get glimpses of the rarely seen phenomenon called the 'sunny day'. Down go the sunroofs on cars, out come the shades, shorts and the barbecue we should have cleaned properly last year. Time to forget we have just had six months of rainfall because summer is on it's way ( let's hope it is not just an overnight visit). I am totally gobsmacked and I wasn’t even at the Oscars!
Just where has all the sunshine gone!
Don’t get me wrong I hadn’t woken the BBQ from hibernation but I did feel I had an extra spring in my step!
I suppose I should be thankful for almost a weeks worth of sunshine as we have had summers shorter than that.
Ok it’s time to look on the bright side, not sure where that is at the moment, as everywhere is pretty gloomy but you know what I mean.
Some fantastic Easter Breaks available to book in either our 3 or 4 bedroom caravans. Don’t forget Butlins passes are included and all beds made up.

Remember, keep your chin up! but maybe not too high.

Wow! What a weekend! - Went to the 70's weekender at Butlins Minehead. Got to see a few bands including Slade and Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel. So good to hear and sing-a-long to some of our favourite songs. Let's not forget how good the weather was over the weekend, cue ELO.....

You had to hide away for so long (so long).
Let's hope these few sunny days turn into weeks!
We took a walk along the coastline at Minehead (check out the pics), we probably walked for about a mile before turning back to Butlins, didn't want to over do it, we still had some partying to do!
