The grass in the orchard is so long, it’s above my waist. Love the mix of long and cut grass.

The butterflies and birds love it too.

We won’t cut the longer grass until much later in the year to allow the seeds to drop off.

Out the exit, turn left, and within a 2 minute walk you’ll find yourself in the village of Allerford with the woods above.
All looking beautiful this evening in the sun.
Plenty of beautiful places like this to explore during your stay.

I slept though the Northern lights, but so glad our guests got to see them.

Makes all the hard work worrhwile when the guests have a wonderful time. 😊

Delighted that we have a new tea gardens open in Allerford which is just a 5 minute walk from us.

Emma and her team offer a warm welcome and fantastic selection of food and beverages.

The perfect place to stop during your day exploring Exmoor or if you just fancy a gentle stroll down to the village.

The cream tea with homemade jam was delicious 😋

Busy day in the orchard getting ready for guests arriving today.

Three hot tubs to heat up ready so definitely got my 10,000 steps + today. We get our wood fired hot tubs heated on arrival day so guests can start relaxing straight away. 😊
