A little summary of Rural Enterprise Exmoor's Vision and Networking Workshop that we hosted this week. Great to see so many members of the local business community coming together to support a forward-looking vision for Exmoor's sustainable economic growth while preserving the heritage, culture and world-class environment that we are all so proud of. What a great initiative!

Yesterday saw our Vision networking session and what a great turnout!
🀝
Great discussion, fantastic guest speakers and some wonderful pledges to help us further the vision for our future economy on .
🀝
The vision has been collated using YOUR views and opinions. Without your input, it just wouldn’t have been possible.
🀝
Now is the time to step up and be a part of change. No 1 business, organisation or authority is responsible for our future, we all are.
🀝
Stay tuned for more updates on the project and how we are moving forward, together.
🀝
A huge thank you to our sponsors Airband, Exmoor Tea Company for providing delicious refreshments and Knowle Manor for the gorgeous setting.
🀝
More extended thanks to Holly Purdey from Horner Farm and Harry from Singer Instruments for guest speaking. Alongside speaking and sharing the passion for our collective vision.

Sad to see an old friend go! This Scots Pine had died and sadly needed to come down. It was over 150 years old and we will miss it dearly.

Fun fact: There has been a Manor House at Knowle since the 11th century, prior to that it was home to a Saxon settlement. The Manor has taken many forms over the centuries and has been rebuilt 3 times since the 16th century. The house that you see today was built in 1878 and this Scots Pine was part of the original landscaping by J.D. Sedding. J.D. Sedding was also the architect for Knowle, which explains why the grounds and manor are so well entwined!

Thank you to Brendon Hill Tree Services Ltd for doing such a brilliant job πŸŒ³πŸ™
