Brilliant idea

The FREE Minehead Beach Toy library has been restocked with items that have been donated by generous members of the public and other toys that have been collected during Plastic Free Communities in West Somerset beach cleans.

We hope that visitors and residents will enjoy using this free community resource but will also respect it by looking after the toys they have borrowed and returning them to the library once they have finished using them.

The library is currently open from Saturday to Thursday (closed on Fridays) from 10am to 4pm.

The Somerset & Exmoor Coast Festival is a new autumn festival taking place from 23rd September to 1st October in 2023. It will span the entire Somerset coast from Brean to Porlock Weir.
At its heart is a Walking Festival with walks throughout the coastal area, as well as the opportunity to walk the entire coast of Somerset on the England Coast Path and South West Coast Path National Trails.
Alongside this, local businesses will be hosting events from music to cream teas, town tours to arts trails and food and drinks tastings.

This project has been funded by EDF, commissioned by Somerset Council on behalf of the Hinkley Tourism Action Partnership
