After 6 months hard work Elm and Little Beech are just lovely and ready for visitors ! The sunrises are pretty good as well !

Happy New Year to all our lovely guests.
We end 2023 on a bit of a low!
Our plans for Bay View have been scuppered by Building Control regulations. As we are putting one door between two bungalows it seems that the renovations are now considered to be on par with a "new build" and all the new regulations thst go with that. This involves mega insulation, possible having to dig up the floor, solar panels , and it seems an Air Source Heat Pump.
None of this was planned for or indeed within our budget.
So, at the moment we are at a standstill. We wait for trades to return to work next week when some big decisions will have to be made very quickly !
Meanwhile I should be in New Zealand but that too has been put on hold as Rick and I have to be in the same country and as united front !
We will keep everyone up to date !

So far so good! The demolition team have been amazing! The builders are all booked in for January . Just a few Building Control hoops to jump through !!??
