Although it is still August and there is a few flowers in bloom you can feel that autumn is setting in at the parsonage. The hedgerows are becoming abundant with fruits and the Hips and haws are plump, ripe and plentiful. The parsonage is a perfect place to stay to connect with nature and enjoy wild woodland walks. rosehips and hawthorn have long been used for food and medicine and we live in a perfect place to Experience the joys of Foraging. Why not Come and explore the alchemy of wild food and medicine in our quiet and unspoilt countryside, you will feel like you’re walking in the olden days on old paths and drovers tracks. Our local visitor centers in porlock and lynmouth have a great selection of books if this interests you. They are both great places to visit if you’re in the area and the staff at both are always very helpful and supportive. We have Vacancies for late September and onwards if you fancy an autumn break at the parsonage.
