Another lovely review for Cedar Falls:

The cosy cabin offered beautiful views and was the perfect place for a quiet getaway.
The wood fired hot tub helped us relax each evening, with plenty of wood provided.
Wonderful local walks and historic sites meant me had plenty to do during the day.
We highly recommend the cabin for a couples getaway.

What a lovely review for The Hop Cabin 🥰

Secluded and comfortable cabin, easy to find. Close to shops and restaurants, within walking distance. Check in was smooth and instructions very detailed. Site rustic, very back to nature, squirrels, birdsong, badgers. Log fire was superb, Bed was very comfortable. Basic cooking amenities but we were not looking to cook a 3 course meal so all was good. Free taster beers went down very well. Would definately consider staying at the Hop Cabin again.

Have you met our lovely owners? Here’s a little about them:

ED, TORI AND THE KIDS…

are a family which love the great outdoors, from canoeing to exploring off the beaten track and they are more than happy to share these secrets with you. They live just up the road in Llandogo, where they also own Cedar Falls, a cabin that they used to live in themselves before renovating their current home. This was at the same time as setting up the brewery where they produce traditionally made real ales which they are always happy to share with guests!

Another lovely review for Pioneer 💕

Perfect little getaway for my partner and I. After a very busy summer this is exactly what we needed to recuperate. Tintern is a very beautiful place. After a days adventure it was great to return to a peaceful place to enjoy a quiet evening. Tori and Ed were really helpful during our stay. We highly recommend their beer! Delicious!

Lovely review for Pioneer 😊

We will be back next year. Your beer is amazing. Not only was it delicious, but buying from a small independent ticks all the boxes for us... but it really was delicious - THANK YOU!!
Pioneer is delightfully quirky in a lovely setting. We were kept cozy by the log burner and the functionality you have built into a small space was perfect and a joy to experience.

Lovely review for cedar falls

Had a fantastic three night stay, loved the hot tub and all the guaranteed beautiful woodland walks. Having breakfast outside with the view of the Wye valley was lovely. Also had a really brill dinner at The Lion in Trellech. Kingston beers are excellent - our fav was the Tudor. Thanks!!

Beautiful review for pioneer:

We had the most wonderful anniversary weekend at Pioneer. Arriving from London on a boiling hot day and in lots of summer traffic; the Kingstone Brewery ales were a wonderful (and welcome) touch! We had perfect blue sky days, and the green canopy of trees gave us beautiful shade and coolness from the heatwave. We loved being able to cook and eat outdoors - the barbecue A-frame grid was great! The interior of Pioneer has been carefully, and thoughtfully planned out. It is cosy and welcoming, and has everything you need. A lovely touch is the trivia games left for guests to enjoy, and we spent our evenings quizzing each other with some after-dinner riddles. We felt like nature’s guests and observed (and heard) beautiful birdlife. It was the perfect city break. The nearby village of Tintern is charming, and the Wye Valley won us over immediately. We loved it so much, we can’t wait to come back to The Hop Garden and Kingstone Brewery.

Another lovely review for Hop Cabin:

For us the cabin was just perfect, everything from the enclosed garden setting to the attention to detail throughout the cabin. The bed was extremely comfortable and I could happily spend hours sat on the veranda with a cup of tea (or glass of wine) reading my book or simply daydreaming. Tori is a talented artist and we loved the original artwork on the walls. It’s the Ideal place to recharge, relax and unwind. Two nights just wasn’t long enough.

Another lovely review for Goldings:

The cabin was a lovely peaceful retreat . The decor was pretty and the entire cabin was clean and tidy on arrival. We had a really nice time. The brewery tour was fun and we both enjoyed the beers. Lots of lovely walks nearby - Offa’s D**e walk was very pretty. Brick weir and Hewelfield store was great for a few bits and pieces of local produce and their sandwiches and coffee were tasty. This is within walking distance (steep hill up but great coming down). Lots of local pubs and cafes too. Would definitely recommend.
