Full time and Part time Drivers required; we are currently looking for drivers to join our team at Keiths Coaches Ltd. Based at Blucher Newcastle upon Tyne, Keiths is a small family run business that specialises in private hire work, prominently with local schools, universities clubs and societies and not excluding private bookings, so from school trips and university outings, to clubs and socities day trips to some occassional nights away from home at Keiths we offer variety.

Our full time drivers are contracted to 37.5 hour a week with overtime available throughout our peak periods, wages are paid on an hourly basis deposited directly into the drivers banks on a weekly basis, with the oppurtunity to join the pension scheme and benefit from paid holidays, along with this we pay our drivers an overnight allowance should they be away from home.

In general are drivers are required to operate a variety of vehicles from our 16 seat minibuses, our 37 seat midi coach up to our 75 seat coach, but mostly our 57 seat executive coaches.

If you are looking for part time/split shifts we currently require minibus drivers for our contracts with Newcastle City Council.

Today the coach industry lost one of the best, John was one of our longest standing drivers to date with over 20 years in service only retiring 2 years ago for the second time!

John served many school children, weddings and customers over the years demonstrating exceptional customer service throughout which was founded by his sincere love of driving.

His witty humour and infectious laugh always cheered us up in the office when times were tough. His willingness to help and serve others was second to none. His stories from the tours on the continent had us in fits of laughter and the tales he told always put a smile on our faces.

He simply was one of a kind and it was a great honour to have him as part of our Keiths Coaches family. He was respected by colleagues and customers alike and he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with John’s friends and family at this sad time. From Keith, Rachael, Debbie & all at Keith’s coaches 💙🚐
