The pretty village of Osmotherley is within a 15-minute drive, with pubs serving food and a convenience store. Thirsk (12 miles) has a cobbled square and interesting alleyways and lanes to explore. The Heritage Coastline, with Whitby and Scarborough, and the Hambleton Hills are also within an easy drive. Escape to the National Park where the National Cycle Network wends its way through stunning scenery. The Coast-to-Coast long distance footpath passes near the cottage. Enjoy watching the rare breed Gloucester Old Spots pigs and Ryeland sheep in the owner’s nearby fields. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is also an easy scenic drive away. Accommodation
