From Monday 8 January the whole property will be closed for winter maintenance and cleaning. This includes the visitor centre, shop, café and gardens (the castle is already closed for winter). The whole site will be reopening on Monday 5 February. The car park and estate remain open for walkers.

So, working full time, having a hard drive die on me recently and avoiding the moor this weekend because of Ten Tors, means I have actually got around to organising and looking through my archives!

Here is a shot of V***n Tor (the forbidden tor) taken in November 2019 💚

All the images I'll post over the next few days will be ones that you won't have seen before, as I never got around to editing them! That's how good I am 🤣 I bin things that others couldn't hope to come close to capturing 😜 ... the good thing about no longer attempting to promote my photography is I get to be more open about my processes and how I feel about things in general 💚

My style isn't to everyone's taste, and I accept that, in fact I'm not really interested in being 'popular' ... my work is purely an attempt at reflecting how the moor feels to me (like it or leave it) ... I don't however, have the financial reserves to keep having my work 'shown' to others on these platforms in the hope that a few people with spare cash will buy a print or two (my follower numbers have pretty much stagnated over the last two years and I don't see that changing without me pandering to trends or stroking ego's 🤣)

So, please share my work ... costs you nothing! Ta, Paul x
