Very frustrated this morning! Over the past few days the park has been vandalised, a bench has been broken and this morning we discovered that our newly planted hedge has been pulled up. Unbelievable! Please keep your eyes peeled and report anything suspicious to the police on 101 or DM us with details.

ROLL UP! ROLL UP! It's almost Sunday and our long awaited Table Top Sale is almost here. Please tell all your friends, neighbours and relatives so we can make this a great success. Feel free to print off our flyer and put it up somewhere at work or at home. There will be lots of bargains to be had, we are sure, as well as delicious cakes, a fabulous raffle and the long anticipated TOMBOLA! Mrs Price will be delighted that she can finally get back behind her desk after all the wonderful donations for the prizes for this are finally won ... will you be one of the lucky ones? We've been saving up and with the help of Abbo Mandy Abbott and her bingo nights we can afford a new kitchen for the hall!😁🌭 We're planning it now and would love your suggestions for what's needed. It'll be a big investment, so we want to get it right! Post your ideas below or DM us.

Safety Notice: we've had a recall notice on the freerider in the play park, apparently some of the chains have come loose on pieces of kit elsewhere. As a precaution we have taped it off for now and engineers are going to replace the chains at the end of the month. Plenty more to play on though and hopefully the sun will shine. Happy Easter!

CRAFTY KIDS LOVE THE ENVIRONMENT on Saturday 11th February at Lowther Village Hall from 2:30-4:30pm. Have a go at re-using materials to create fabulous artwork with artist Marieke Tomlin. Please text or face book if you may be coming as this will help us provide sufficient materials.

TREE/HEDGE PLANTING WITH THE RSPB on Tuesday 21st February, meet at Swindale Cattle Grid at 1:00 -3:00pm. Booking for this event is essential as we need to car share or bike/walk 2.5km to Swindale Head. Thanks to everyone who came along to the cinema event and for being so patient with our technical hitch! Massive thanks to all those who helped out throughout the afternoon and the cleaning up crew. And finally to Jasmine and Susannah for saving the day and heroically running to collect the new DVD! Took nearly £200 so well worth it.

Great session with Dave Corrie and Wild about Eden at the play area today. The kids were making trellis for plants to cover the old shed and making wooden animals to nail to the fencing. It all looks great!
