Castellmarch is a traditional beef and sheep farm, and is situated 1 mile from the village of Abersoch and less than a 10 minute walk from the Warren beach.

We pride ourselves in offering 4 high quality self catering units. Our Log Cabin and Bryn Beudy have hot tubs and will accommodate up to 5 guests. Our larger units – the Granary and Stable accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms.

The accommodation is suitable for up to 5 guests. The open plan living/kitchen area has a fully fitted kitchen with washer/dryer and seating area for up to 5 persons. The family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. There are 2 bedrooms – 1 family room and a twin room. The patio door from the lounge area opens onto a patio area with your very own hot tub.

The views from the patio are truly magnificent – which overlooks Cardigan Bay and St Tudwals’ islands! We allow 1 pet in the Log Cabin (£30 charge per week) – but we kindly ask that pets are never left unattended in the accommodation at anytime.

What a wonderful day we had at the palace 🩷

The garden party was to celebrate 200 yrs of the RNLI and long service awards ⚓️

Wyn got a 30 year service medal, all guests who were invited were RNLI volunteers crew, launching authorities, station manager (Wyn is lifeboat operations manager at Abersoch).

There were also fundraisers there too, 5 crew and partners were invited from Pwllheli and Abersoch - we had a lovely time!!🩷

Bryn Beudy is a detached single storey stone cottage with a private garden on the farm grounds with ample parking. The cottage will accommodate up to 5 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped and also has a washer/dryer. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. The living area has patio doors leading out onto a patio area and garden with garden furniture, bbq and your very own hot tub.

The bedrooms consist of 1 family room with a double and single bed and also a twin room. We allow 1 pet in Bryn Beudy (£30 charge per week) – but we kindly ask that pets are never left unattended in the accommodation at anytime.

Well done Abersoch RNLI 🩵

CALl OUT 📟: 6/6/24

Our Abersoch RNLI volunteer crew were out on a routine training exercise, when they spotted a lone kayaker heading towards St Tudwal’s Island East.

The casualty, an adult male, had been attempting to paddle to the island in a moderate sea state and an off-shore westerly wind. When our volunteer crew arrived at the scene the kayak had taken on water and the casualty was becoming cold.

The casualty was taken on board our Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat together with the kayak and after checking his condition he was returned to the shore at 8.10pm where he was left in the care of the waiting local Coastguard team who had been alerted to the incident.

Abersoch RNLI volunteer helm, Phill Woods, said ‘He was very lucky that we happened to come across him whilst out on exercise’. He added, ‘Although the casualty was wearing a lifejacket, he was somewhat underprepared for the conditions which were not favourable for kayaking’.

The volunteer crew returned to the lifeboat station at 8.25pm where the lifeboat was then washed down and refuelled by the waiting shore crew and left ready for service.

The Granary

The farm Granary has been lovingly converted into a family friendly holiday cottage and will accommodate up to 6 guests. There is a spacious lounge area with a separate fully equipped kitchen.
Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms – 1 twin room, 1 double room and another double room with en suite bathroom. There is also a family bathroom. To the front of the property there is a patio area with garden furniture and bbq. We do not allow pets in this accommodation.

We are a ten minute walk or short drive to these beautiful beaches 🏖

There are many beautiful beaches in the area – the closest one being the Warren – just across the road from our entrance; there is also another beach in the centre of Abersoch.
There are so many lovely beaches in the area – all within approximately half an hour’s drive – Porthor (Whistling Sands) – where the sand actually whistles under your feet; we have Porth Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth) which is ideal for surfers, and many small coves in the area.
St. Tudwal’s Islands, Half Tide Rocks or Bardsey Island have their large colony of seals which is well worth a visit on one of the pleasure boats which take people out.
Ty Coch, Morfa Nefyn (www.tycoch.co.uk) is well worth a visit – it is a lovely walk from Morfa Nefyn golf club down to the beach at Porthdinllaen – this caption was in a local paper recently: The Ty Coch Inn is arguably the best pub in Wales and OFFICIALLY in the top ten beach bars in the world... according to a recent survey.
