We have had some great weather, albeit it a tad chilly, over the last few days. Some shots taken today walking the dog. You can see the three sisters trees in the distance. We still have availability for a week from 22nd November and mid December.

Another cracking day so went off on a bike ride via Downholme. I call it my easy circuit. About 35km and not too many hills unless you divert back via Grinton. We have free dates from 22nd November. Come and stay!

Traditional fireworks in Reeth which are always impressive. Fortunately Swale View is well away (4 miles) so dogs can stay safe inside there.

There are plenty of good walks for you and your dog straight from the house. This is a nice early morning stroll down by the river.

A visit to the Muker Show saw some sheep dog trials, a wall building exhibition, local produce competitions and some smashing tractors. Well worth a visit!

A few shots of Reeth Show today which was a super day out even if my wonky bread didn't win. I'll be back next year for another go. And possibly enter a lemon drizzle cake unless I eat it first.

Loving the smell of the honey scented purple Heather. Hope the bees are having fun. Loved this area opposite Healaugh on a bike ride this morning. Only 10 minutes from Swale View!

Swale View is perfect for dog walks right from the front door.

A good ride up to Ravenseat from Swale View. A couple of good climbs with amazing views at the top. Slightly easier terrain than Ard Rock taking place in the other direction!

Loving this weather. We have availability for 3 to 10 days from the 27th July. Enjoy this 5km circular walk from Swale View down by the river, through a small wood & back via the pub! Ideal for wild swimming!

Come and visit Swaledale for the stunning views! You may have to wait a day or so though.
It's beautiful here when the sun shines, or even makes an appearance!
