Lambing is coming to an end now, and slowly the team dwindles. Like any year, this year has been a huge test of mental and physical endurance. Exhausted but not beaten, this team has been brilliant.

The photo here is missing nocturnal Hettie who has been our superb night lamber.

It’s looking like a good Strawberry crop this year with the first of the Gooseberries also ripe and masses of brilliant and unusual summer soft fruits to follow from late June. We can’t wait!

Blink and you miss it........yesterday the three baby Swallows left their nest (at the forefront of the picture) and have now taken up residence on a beam. The parents are busy from dawn ‘til dusk catching insects for their hungry brood - so lovely to see and hear.
