With all that has been going on with booking.com not paying hosts I have partnered with air b and b for the time being until we have some resolution with payments.
I have also set up a book now and payments on our own website.
Remember these multi million pound companies didn’t care about us little folk in covid and certainly not helping us at the height of the season with non payment from guests who have paid in full months or weeks in advance of staying with us.
Hopefully the amount of negative attention they are getting through social media news coverage and tabloid may make them hopefully sit up and pay us what we are due.

I have spoken with booking.com again today and have been informed payouts are being held up due to financial technical problems.
We have not been paid properly since the end of June 23 so if we do not get paid on Monday as promised for the 5 weeks that are owing at the height of our holiday season we will unfortunately have to cancel bookings due to working for nothing and still paying out for our bills and out outgoings.

Well the bank holiday weekend is over.
So it’s back to getting more work done at the rear this time.
The garage roof repair and flat 2 bathroom.
So In a few more weeks we will be able to offer full washing and drying facilities in the laundry area to the rear.
This will be to guests staying more than 2 nights who wish to wash.
It’s hard with families so no need to pack as much stuff we are here to provide this service.

Today we’ve had the new cleaning team in for a deep clean in the flats so we are for this Easter holiday.

So I’m just loving having such wonderful feed back on verified stays.
The team has worked so hard for the holiday flats to look wonderful for this summer.
I can’t thank everyone who has helped enough.

Today has been a day of glossing and outdoor painting around the back for flat 1 and flat 2.
Flat 1 is having a freshen up with my little helper glossing the woodwork.
And I’ve been tidying up and redoing the rear wall and fence.
New lights and bunting to go up before the weekend.
