LABOUR OF LOVE:
For many years we've wanted a bedhead in the Oak Room; but we wanted it to be "right".
2004 years ago Johnny took Harry out of primary school for a day to carry out some tricky timber extraction in the wood above our house at Lewinshope. Among the logs collected was a beautiful evenly curved trunk which we thought we might sell for a large "Inglenook" lintel. It was "faced" about four years ago and re-cut this spring. Final cutting and sanding has taken some careful thought. What do you think? Thank you Andy Douglas, Kevin Campbell, Lucas Gintowt, , Theo Dunn for making it into the wall!

Christmas decorations are all put away with help from Annabel my assistant!
We are now looking for a reliable & energetic person to help with our holiday let changeover. Must be happy to work as part of a small team. Mondays & Fridays 10am - 2pm, occasionally a later finish. Is required. DM for more information.
