We had amazing fun designing and making our bird gliders. Once we had finished making them, we saw how they glided and had fun seeing who's would fly the furthest.

Last week we celebrated Pancake Day, we made some delicious pancakes. We had to weigh out the ingredients and mix the mixture to get rid of all the lumps in the batter. after they were cooked, we added our favourite toppings. They were amazing. We also played a game where we made our own paper pancakes and used a book to waft them to see who could make it across the table first. 😁😁😁

We love a bit of baking. It teaches us how to weigh and measure ingredients, how to use an oven and how long food items take to cook. These skills help us to be independent if we need to be.

We have started our sessions of sport with Sport Works every Friday. We are trying out lots of new sporting activities which are helping us with fitness, concentration and new skills.

We had great fun last week celebrating Chinese New Year. It was the year of the Dragon and we made our own Chinese dragons using different materials.

We had a great time designing a picture for our 2024 calendars and as you see they turned out great.

We love to keep our brains active with lots of different games, we played Where's Wally matching card game which was a little tricky at some points.

We love visiting Wisewood Sports Centre and taking part in lots of different sporting activities.

We are extremely busy at the moment working on an art project that is going to be displayed in our café. We are creating some art around dragons and once we have finished it will be be put together to hopefully create a wonderful piece of art that everyone can see and enjoy.
Keep your eyes out for more sneak peaks before it goes up.

We have been doing some work with Mencap and health passports. We looked at our weight and the sorts of things we could do to stay fit and healthy.
At the end of the course we were rewarded with a medal.
