🚙 Raven Meadows multi-storey car park in Shrewsbury is CLOSED for entry due to a power cut that has also affected other properties in the area.

⚠️ There is no need to move vehicles currently in the car park, but please take care when you return to your vehicle. If you need any help or assistance please ask at the office by the entrance.

🚌 If you are visiting Shrewsbury town centre please use park and ride or other local bus services if possible. Frankwell and St Julian's car parks remain closed until further notice.

⚠️ Visiting Shrewsbury town centre today?

🚗 Frankwell car park and St Julian's Friars car parks are CLOSED until further notice. Parking in other car parks is limited.

🚧 There are road closures in the Coleham area due to the flood barriers being deployed.

⚠️ We advise using park and ride or other bus services, or walk/cycle if possible.

🚌 The park and ride is operating as normal from all three sites - Oxon , Meole and Harlescott. A return journey is just £1 (and FREE for accompanied under-16s).

ℹ️ Please avoid Coleham gyratory in Shrewsbury on Monday morning.

🚧 The Environment Agency has deployed the flood barriers at Coleham Head, meaning there will be road closures on Longden Road, Hereford Road and Belle Vue Road.

➡️ Road closure signs - and a signed diversion - will be in place.

Shrewsbury car parks update - 4.30pm Saturday.

⚠️ St Julian's car park is now CLOSED due to rising river levels. There is no overnight parking in the car park.

ℹ️ St Julian's residents' permit holders should move to Abbey Foregate car park.

⚠️ Frankwell car park is also CLOSED. Please move all vehicles (and exit the car park) before 5.45pm today as the Environment Agency will be closing off the car park exit, Any cars not moved may be impacted by floodwater.

ℹ️ Frankwell permit holders should move to Raven Meadows multi-storey.

Please do NOT scan these codes. If you do – or have done – please DON'T supply your bank details.

If you see one of these QR code stickers – in Shrewsbury or elsewhere - please gently remove it if you can and/or report it to Shropshire Council

⚠️ There are NO legitimate QR codes in use on any Shropshire Council pay and display machines. Shropshire Council DOES use MiPermit but payment is made via the MiPermit app, NOT a QR code

'Twas weeks before Christmas and all through the town, tales started to spread about Chris Mouse. This festive fellow will be arriving in Shrewsbury later this week and will bring with him a special exclusive storybook chapter, seven festive scenes of Shrewsbury past and present, AND a prize for the person who counts the most Chris Mouses (Chris Mice?) around the town. 🎄🐭
