For users of our van over the summer, this is the new parking company and their terms for the car park next to Fantasy Island.
Please be very careful as lots of people have fallen foul and you have to pay for how long you have been there/will be there. The ANPR cameras do not tell you how much to pay - they are just there to send parking penalties to you!
If you do get caught out, let me know and I can put you onto an FB page that will help appeal. DON'T appeal without taking advice as it will be refused.

So this is it folks - the end of our first season in Ingoldmells.
It's been great having you all to stay and we look forward to welcoming you back again next year. We haven't sorted out prices for the 2023 season yet but rest assured they will not be going up much.
We have an agent handling our lets and he gets the van filled pretty quickly so if you want dates for next year please get in touch before they get filled. Check the availability callendar to see what is free.
Hope to see you all again next year. :-)

Gorgeous new flooring in the lounge, diner and kitchen. With thanks to my lovely friend Trevor for his brilliant work. I am SO pleased with it and it is going to make the caravan so nice and pleasant to stay in.

*** EDIT***
I would recommend not using this car park at all as there appears to be a rising number of people getting 'fined' despite paying the full £6 a day charge.
For any of our guests who use the Fantasy Island car park - please be aware if you do not pay correctly you will get a parking charge notice - £60 minimum!
You need to use the button on the machine to increase the amount you are paying to ensure you don't underpay - don't assume the £2 it shows to be what you have to pay!
If you do come a cropper and get a 'fine' let me know and I will give you the information you need to appeal.
How do I know this? The darned thing caught me and I have had to take advice and send in my own appeal. (With help from an expert on getting people out of these 'fines'.) :-(

For those of you with children staying at the van this summer - this information could be invaluable.

Following the re-launch of on the East coast, we are happy to announce that the following venues and locations will hold a supply of wristbands throughout the summer season.

The scheme works by giving FREE wristbands out to families of children and vulnerable adults. These wristbands contain the details of the family in case the person wearing the wristband should get lost.

Dad's Van is sited on The Chase, which has Woody's Family Bar and Restaurant offering an excellent variety of food and drink, live entertainment and showing live sports. It also contains a large indoor children's soft play area. Outside there is a substantial south facing decked area complete with seating and a large outdoor children's playground.
The site also boasts a good sized shop and a launderette.
It is within 5 minutes walk to the seafront, 15 minutes walk to Fantasy Island (but far enough away to not be disturbed by it) and 10 minutes drive to Skegness itself.
Come and have a holiday at the seaside!

Been up to the van today to take up all the nice things and useful things... you know - bedding, crockery, pans, tv etc.
Just the intensive clean to happen now (carpets and upholstery) and a few small snagging bits and we are ready to let from 19 March.

WE'RE BACK!!!
A nice new caravan, on a lovely new site.
We are now based on The Chase in Ingoldmells, less than 10 minutes walk from the beach and 15 minutes walk to Fantasy Island. (But far enough away not to be disturbed by it.)
No prices yet as we are waiting for the van to be sited on its new pitch and the decking to be installed but we are letting for 2022.
If you have any dates in mind, please let me know and we can provisionally pencil you in.
