The Carnoustie Classic has been one of the premier golf events in Scotland with the 2025 event, starting on Sunday 20th April, being the 19th time it has been played.
With golf taking place over the Medal Course at Monifieth Golf Links, the 1562 Links at Montrose Golf Links, the Burnside Course and the world famous Championship Course, both at Carnoustie Golf Links, its an event not to be missed !

The Carnoustie Country Classic got underway this morning with the golfers taking on the Medal Course at Monifieth Golf Links and the Buddon Course at Carnoustie Golf Links.

The 2024 Carnoustie Country Classic is almost upon us and the players will be welcomed on Sunday 21st April at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel and Spa with proceedings starting with a welcome reception within the hotel.
They will be offered samples from some of our local drinks producers on the day with Toll House Spirits, The Gin Bothy, Arbikie Distillery, Angus Alchemy and Carnoustie Distillery all in attendance.
We thank the producers for their support and cannot wait to welcome our local and international golfers to the area.

What a great night last night at The Courier Food and Drink Awards 2024 at The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa , where the DP&L Group were proud to sponsor the Craft Distiller of the Year category.
It was amazing to sample some of the fantastic food on offer in our local area and to meet the business people involved.

Would like to thank the team at Lindores Abbey Distillery for their hospitality during a recent visit to experience what they have to offer our golfing visitors.
Distilling at the Abbey dates back as far as 1494, when the monks produced a drink called "Aqua Vitae" and after being brought back to life in 2016, the distillery still produce that drink alongside its Lowland Single Malt and other special edition whiskies.
Well worth a visit when in the surrounding Dundee and Fife area.
