🚂 Big trains are back! 🎉

Today we’re hosting the annual Lions Day event, our curtain raiser for the 2022 season!

After our successful reopening last week, and due to the excellent weather forecast this week, we are pleased to announce 3 extra days running. We will be open Tuesday (20th), Wednesday (21st) and Friday (23rd) from 11am to 4pm with trains every hour on the hour. The Railway and The Lake are looking fantastic in the sun so drop in and take a trip! No booking required, buy tickets from the ticket office on Platform 1 (card only).

Not too far away from the ryeland

Following on from the Government announcement yesterday, we are pleased to confirm we will reopen on Monday 12th April as advertised. Our running arrangements remain the same as last year with return tickets only available for card purchase from Rudyard Station (no booking required, just turn up and pay for the train when it’s in the station) - head on over to our website for more details. After a full winter of maintenance projects now complete, we are all looking forward to welcoming everyone back.
