We have unlimited private WiFi in the van and freesat TV, there is a TV in each bedroom too.
I've not really been posting much this season, mostly because we haven't been at the van much ourselves. We have been booked pretty much solid which is amazing but we do have some September availability on the website

Beautiful morning here at the van! Just about to head for breakfast Theduckorgrousewigbay it's so nice to be able to go for breakfast on site now. After breakfast we have a few small jobs to do before we are ready for our first guests of the season arriving on Monday.

First day of the season back at our happy place. We delayed things a bit due to the snow last week as we obviously didn't want the pipes freezing. We are still on track to open up for bookings at the start of April. The new gas fire has been installed and looks lovely, I've the just set up the new faster broadband, new boiler is going in this week so all we need is the outside of the van washed and for us to wash the carpets next weekend and we will be up and running.

Beautiful day down at the Mull of Galloway Lighthouse today
We are having a great few days back at the van. Did the £15 day trip to Belfast yesterday which I would highly recommend, tomorrow I think we will go to the Galloway Lighthouse which is the most southerly part of Scotland, we have been before but the cafe wasn't open then, it's not too far to drive but does involve some single track roads

Brilliant day out idea, the ferry is only about 15 mins away from wigbay
It really is a stunning part of the country with lots to do in the area. We still have some dates available but school holidays are very close to being full
Dumfries and Galloway has overtaken the Highlands as the most in-demand holiday region in Scotland this year.
We have very little summer availability now

In July we only have the 1st till the 11th left
In August we only have the 12th till the 18th

Thank you everyone who asked after Bramble the bunny when he was unwell, he has had his operation today and I'm just back from picking him up from the vets. He is still quite drowsy but he is going to be ok. His poor brother Ron has been lost without him all day and is very happy to have him home! Photo for cuteness, it wasn't taken today (Bramble is the darker one pretending he is shy hiding from the camera, the reality is he is actually scared of heights and wondering why the heck he has jumped up here in the first place)

Finally got around to deleting all the old pictures from the albums so now all the pics of the van are current at last. Can't believe how much better it looks now than it did previously! On a side note we have had a cancellation for the bank holiday if anyone is looking for a staycation.
Today i had to leave work to rush Bramble, one of our rabbits, to the vet where they initially wanted to hospitalise him! He had not eaten in 24 hours which can be fatal for buns and needs an operation on his teeth (again, he has had this done several times). Thankfully they agreed it was best to take him home as rabbits can get very stressed away from their own environment, particularly if they are bonded with another bun which he is, stress can worsen GI status so obviously this was to be avoided. He is home, had his medicine and has eaten a tiny bit of hay which is a great sign so he is not going in for an emergency operation tomorrow but will need to go in as soon as his tummy has settled so likely at the start of next week. I know i have still to sort the photo albums on here but I just haven't had a minute, I definitely will get them done though so that when you look at them you only see current pictures of the van from after we redecorated. We had a busy long weekend, we washed carpets, the outside of the van got washed finally (we have been trying to arrange this since March), we had lots of fun trying to get the new alexa working and we had a great night out on Saturday too. I've still to go through the pictures on here and remove the old ones and make sure it is just current pictures that are on but Facebook kept giving me error messages when i tried yesterday and to be honest I've not had any time today.
