It’s carnival time in Somerset, fabulous time of year to visit the County and experience Carnival time. Great time to explore Exmoor in its autumn glory too.

A short drive away from Elthorne, Porlock taking in fabulous views across the Bristol Channel to the North and the moors of Exmoor to the South of the A39. Stopping off at Countisbury.
Looking back to Hurlstone Point from Countisbury. From Countisbury towards Lynmouth and onwards to Valley of Rocks.

Elthorne Porlock , on sunny days, perfect spot to sit, relax and take in the fabulous view across Porlock Marsh, watching the sea wash in through the breach and looking out across the Bristol Channel to South Wales. Beautiful in all seasons. Sun’s out, diaries out, Exmoor self catering holiday sorted.

Beautiful view across the Bristol Channel on a sunny Spring Day. Porlock is beautiful in all seasons. Perfect location for coast and moor, walks and relaxation and lots of great pubs and tea shops.
