One of the most spectacular places to visit locally must surely be the beautiful tourist village of Portmeirion.

Built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis in the early 20th century, Portmeirion's Riviera inspired houses, ornamental garden and campanile are a beautiful pocket of madness like no other.

Lovely cottage with some delightful additions. Thank you! We loved taking our labradors for walks along the beach from the cottage and couldn’t help popping into Bert’s Kitchen on the way back for something to eat and drink.

With such wonderful weather, its a great time to head to the beach. Llanddwyn Beach on the south west tip of Anglesey is a great choice.

Park up and walk through Newborough forest to the beach, with the lighthouse on Llanddwyn Island also accessible at low tide

Lovely property, tastefully furnished and finished, yet comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen has that wow factor and contains everything you would need. Great Wi-Fi & Sky streaming tv, plenty of information and instructions in the guest folder with the owner contactable

Ynata Cottage is in the Llyn Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which covers around a quarter of the Llyn Peninsula.

An AONB creates an area that is legally protected to preserve and enhance its beauty. Spend some time on the peninsula and its easy to see why it was chosen for this status.

The bathroom at Ynata is progressing well although the fitters are not having fun drilling through the 2ft thick granite walls for the pipes!🫣

The bathroom will feature a countertop basin on a granite top with all of the fittings in black for a luxury & contemporary feel.

Last minute change of heart on the flooring! Wood effect herringbone porcelain tiles have now arrived! 😍

Supplied by Marazzi ceramic flooring from Italy, we're really looking forward to seeing this fitted in the cottage.
