Lovely words from a guest who came to stay in March:

‘We stayed in the old workshop in late March for a weekend whilst attending a party locally. It is such a gorgeous cottage, with every last detail considered, in fact it is so comfortable there is little reason to venture far! That said the cottage is perfectly located for many lovely days out. It’s also handy to Gatwick and mainline stations. With a fabulous kitchen you can cook up a storm or choose from any number of local places to eat out. The hosts are delightful and Tessa’s communications are excellent she made our visit so easy. We look forward to returning!’

A fun day trip to the Balloon Museum and out for lunch in . An amazing immersive inflatable experience! The train takes less than an hour from Wadhurst.

Such a fun afternoon at our local brewery with the kids and dog 🐕, taking part in their Easter treasure hunt and trying some of their latest flavours. Amazing food by .buddies_ and a great atmosphere. The sun even came out! ☀️

All hands on deck to get the beds ready for planting! Sadly we had to take down the beautiful Victorian glasshouse that stood here, it was becoming very dangerous. We plan to plant up the former glasshouse beds with lavender, herbs, shrubs and vegetables.

Do you love wild flowers? Spring is nearly here and we are lucky enough to have an established mature wildflower meadow.

Stunning walks and scenery and so much to do, just outside Wadhurst village (voted the best place to live in the UK 2023 by the Sunday Times).

Great pubs! An hour on the train to London for day trips.

Sleeps 1-4 people (two bedrooms). Dog friendly.

A gorgeous day of sunshine today, the perfect day for putting up some smart new fencing The Old Workshop, Wadhurst.

Our guests now have a fully enclosed garden for their dogs, 🐕 from which a gate leads straight into the fields.
