The Stables.
The Stables is a large, completely self-contained cottage, sitting in approximately 2 acres of grounds, offering privacy and comfort. Located on the Isle of Purbeck, in Dorset, with lovely views over the duck pond to the neighbouring heathland. Sika deer can often be seen on the large lawn to the front of the property. There are numerous walks on the doorstep or along the Jurassic coast, a mere 10 minutes drive away. The ancient town of Wareham is 1.5 miles away and Corfe Castle about 3 miles.
The space
The open plan living space, with a vaulted ceiling and gas effect log burner affords plenty of light and airy space. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including a large range-style cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. The living room has a modern sofa and armchair, TV and HiFi. The double bedroom with king sized bed and en suite shower room are tastefully furnished. Luxury bathroom products are provided for guests convenience.
A sunny west facing private patio has outdoor seating, complete with table, chairs, a large parasol and BBQ, and is perfect for a sundowner. Plenty of private (free, off-road) parking is available adjacent the cottage. There is a separate bike store with a clothes dryer.
Guest access
The cottage sits in the grounds of King's Orchard, but is self-contained with its own fenced patio area, facing west over a large lawned area. There is a big garden with a pond and the heath is immediately adjacent the property.
