WACKADOO! Bluey is visiting Swanage Railway!

Come and see everyone’s favourite Blue Heeler at Corfe Castle Station on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29thSeptember.

This event is free for anyone who holds a valid Swanage Railway ticket - so why not have a family fun filled day out on the Railway. Our railway attraction operates full-size steam and diesel passenger trains along the five and a half miles of line from Norden to Corfe Castle and down to the Victorian seaside town of Swanage. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a great family day out on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.

Bluey will be making appearances at Corfe Castle Museum (adjacent to Corfe Castle Station) at intervals on each day, beginning at the following times.

10:45, 12:05, 13:25, 14:45 and 16:05

Please Note: There is no parking at Corfe castle Station.

It is the official UK mark from Visit Britain to signal that our tourism business at Honeypot Cottage has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. "Honeypot cottage is a pretty and well maintained cottage in a ideal location. We really enjoyed our week there. It has a lovely little garden with a summerhouse. The village of Corfe Castle is very pretty with plenty of places to eat and a useful bakery. Of course don't forget the castle and railway to Swanage. I would definitely recommend this cottage."

🐝Buzzing news: Honey is now the official NHS recommendation for kids with coughs!🐝

Breakthrough Buzzing HONEY news out today! NICE, the body that issues medical guidelines for the NHS has just announced the new UK guidelines on treating acute coughs. HONEY is now the ONLY self-care intervention that NICE recommends for an acute cough (one that lasts up to 3-4 weeks) for 1-12 year olds! NICE have specifically said the doctors should not offer antibiotics, oral or inhaled corticosteroid or bronchodilators for acute coughs as they really don’t help.
