🤩🤩 SCI is back on the Meadows 🤩🤩

Another fantastic day of tournament football at the Meadows today. With Prestatyn Sports hosting their second SCI Football Festivals of the summer.

With teams coming from as far as Ireland 🍀 and a bunch of top local talent too.

Thanks to all the teams that came today , everyone was so well behaved and the football on show was top drawer.

Early start this morning as we have 5 teams and travelling to Wales to compete in the SCI Football Festivals Rhyl Youth Tournament. With 130 in total travelling across for the tournament it's sure to be another smashing trip with plenty of memories made.

The weekend saw teams all across our age groups compete in the annual SCI Tournament, held this year in Berrow. We saw numerous successes across the ages, but none moreso than the team entered by our Wildcats Centre.

Led by coach Jenny Eaton, this group of u7/8's have never played together before, are attendees of our development centre and this was the first experience of playing matches. Not only did they all enjoy their first steps in football, but came away with the coveted Fair Play award, as voted by the referees of the games!

Elsewhere the Black Jets completed their Somerset Girls League season in style with a 6-0 win at Wellington Youth.

56 Girls teams took part last weekend at the SCI Brean Sands Girls Mitre Ultimatch Trophy 10th - 13th May 2024.

It was a great weekend of football at Berrow Junior Football Club with teams from under 7s age group right through to under 15s.

Brilliant weather and a Celebrity Presentation to finish with England Lionessess Legend Rachel Yankey who presented all the awards at the Presentation.

Date for 2025 is 9th - 12th May - bookings are now being taken for 2025.
