That’s the bench seat finished, and made almost entirely from surplus wood used in the build. Lift up bases make for some useful storage underneath too. Cushions next..

It was too dark when we got finished yesterday afternoon to show the finished article, but very pleased with the result 😊. Interior fit-out is next, and then it’ll be ready for our guests.

Leesrigg Cottage is getting a Summerhouse. Work got underway on Monday, with groundworks for the base. The excavation was completed, ready for the sub-base, followed by the concrete slab (weather permitting)
