We have a lot of news to share. First and foremost: MOTOTRAVEL KUTAISI is up and running and ready for action. Our second branch in Western Georgia is an excellent base to discover the country’s most amazing spots.

Down below are a few reports of the first riding experiences that started from Mototravel Kutaisi.

In the meantime Mototravel Tbilisi had its first guided tour last week. Multiple groups are renting. And in a few days we are glad to welcome 11 Finnish riders on a 9 – day guided tour.

On top of that we are hosting a group for a Cross Country 14 - day adventure with our three Overland 4x4’s.

That’s it. The season has certainly started now!

With its name slowly fading away it was time to say goodbye to Sandro Pkhakadze.

To be clear: This about the motorcycle named after the expert mechanic. Luckily mechanic Sandro is helping us lots with kitting out the new Transalps and winter maintenance of our fleet.

Sandro Pkhakadze the bike found a happy new owner in Andrew Graham. Selling the motorcycle is part of a very exciting new plan we have been working on: Soon to be released!

Now that the much celebrated ‘’Old New Year’’ has also made its entry we can look forward to the many 2024 adventures that are to come.

Last year we discovered more than a few amazing new tracks that you can find in the itineraries on our calendar. We are very excited to show these new places to the many riders that have already signed up.

There are still slots available, partly thanks to the 5-horse-strong Honda Transalp fleet expansion. By the way: That bike rides like Honda made it exactly for what we do.

Here are some pictures that we will have to do with until many of our favorite passes are snow and ice free again. Also a few shots of the many cool sights we visit, relaxing, simply not riding or indulging in some of the abundant local delicacies.

The Georgian semi-desert: In the South East of the country there is an abundance of gravel tracks to be explored. Unlike the high altitude Alpine zones in the country this is the perfect place to ride this time of year

We are very excited to anounce that we ordered 5 brand new Honda XL750's, better known as the legendary Transalp. Down below some pictures straight from the warehouse.

With just a bit over 200 KG's and packing more than 90 HP we are convinced its perfectly nimble and manouvarble for our gravel trails yet more than powerful enough to enjoy the twisty asphalt climbs. It seems to be made for the type of riding that Georgia has to offer!

The 5 Transalps are set to arrive March 2024. Check our calender to make sure you get to ride one of these beauties with us.

An impression made by Oren Peleg of a gravel tour we made a little while ago. What a blast we had with these skilled riders. Amazing times and good vibes both on and off the motorcycles.

Luckily we kept plenty of gravel trails to be discovered for a future ride. Maybe rocky trails towards the peaks of the Lower Caucasus will be up next..

Adventure trip to Georgia 2023

We have been busy touring non-stop these few months meeting amazing riders from all over the world. We will be sharing more of these beautiful lanscapes. At the moment there are 2 tours of 6 and 10 riders, one group is enjoying Abano pass up to Tusheti today and the other coming down from the Western Mountains of Racha. We wish them safe and fun trip filled with lasting memories!

Things are kicking off. The images below are of a 10 Day trip that covered the snowcapped mountains of the Greater Caucasus, endless Kakhetian winefields as well as the unique landscapes of the Vashlovani reserve.

Multiple groups are on the go now with our refreshed fleet of motorcycles. On top of that, during the second part of May, we will be hosting three guided motorcycle tours. We simply cannot wait!

Earlier this year we organized the Peaks of the Caucasus. A cross country event with 15 teams. Each team drives their own 4x4's through the rugged yet immensely diverse terrain of Georgia.

We discovered lots of cultural treasures, a few well known but way more little known sights thanks to the expert suggestions of Dimitri Badrisha Jächvliān.

During the evenings the days adventures were shared over delicious Georgian delicacies and wine.
