Hello, my name is Chris and I’m from Germany. Since the 1st of October 2016 I am in Georgia for a twelve month European Volunteer Service in the city Rustavi. I really enjoy my time in Georgia, the country is very beautiful and even though it is small you have a lot of variation which means you don’t have to travel far to find interesting sights. The people in Georgia are very nice and welcoming and even if you don’t speak their language they will invite you and try to help you. Georgia is also a great country to travel by hitchhiking, it is a fast way to get somewhere for free and it can be a lot of fun because you meet many different people. Another thing I really like about Georgia is the food, the Georgian Cuisine has a lot to offer and even though Georgians love meat there is also a big variation of food for vegetarians. Although georgian cheese might not be liked by everyone because it has often a very salty taste, I am pretty sure that all people will enjoy georgian wine. Georgia is a gorgeous country and everyone who has the chance to come here should do it, because it will be an awesome experience.

This extraordinary flea market will keep you entertained for hours. There is a mesmerising assortment of antiques, jewellery and bric-a-brac on sale. In the tough days of Perestroika and the early years of independence, the Dry Bridge is where hard-up citizens of Tbilisi would come to sell their possessions in order to make a little cash. For some people that is still the case today, though for others this is their main business. Everything is laid out on the ground, often carefully arranged on on sheets of material, other times it is a haphazard collection. One person might be trying to sell you twenty-year-old batteries or an old toothbrush, while their neighbour will be touting antique amber and silver jewellery. If you want to buy anything remember to haggle. Prices may be inflated, especially for tourists. Open daily if the weather is good, from 10:00 - 17:00. At weekends there are usually more sellers, but more tourists too.

This wonderful place is located in Samegrelo-ZemoSvaneti region, in Georgia. Small city of Martvili, just half an hour driving time from Kutaisi.Martvili district is truly one of the greatest places in Georgia – combining unique natural environment with historical monuments. It is a place with lots of waterfalls and sky blue water!
On the shore among the trees there are special wooden tables and chairs where you can have a nice picnic. There is also a small footpath which will lead you to the Dadiani's "swimming pool" ( this is a place of the river, looked like a pool ). Great place to have an adventure with a family, friends or co-workers.

Tsinandali is one of the most beautiful places in Kakheti Region. The land of wine! Tsinandali village was belonging of Georgian poet Alexsander Chavchavadze. Now there are belongings of A.Chavchavadze. Sometimes there are represented paintings of famous and beginner painters. Village has decorative garden. The wine vintages made at his estate winery, so he built Georgia’s oldest and largest winery. Dry white Tsinandali is still produced there. You have opportunity to see Alaverdi temple (XIth cenrury), which was one of the highest building at that time.

David Gareja is a rock-hewn Georgian Orthodox monastery complex located in the Kakheti region of Eastern Georgia, on the half-desert slopes of Mount Gareja, some 60–70 km southeast of Georgia's capital Tbilisi. The complex includes hundreds of cells, churches, chapels, refectories and living quarters hollowed out of the rock face.

Part of the complex is located in the Agstafa rayon of Azerbaijan and has become subject to a border dispute between Georgia and Azerbaijan.[1] The area is also home to protected animal species and evidence of some of the oldest human habitations in the region.
