I am just freeing my mind

I believe most good-willed Ghanaian are not willing to contribute in whichever way, either by word, deed, knowledge, resource, you mention it, to confronting real issues concerning this country not because they do not care nor because they are afraid but simply because, they just find it unworthy to be clothed with costume of the polarized political climate which looks like a jungle where two opposing faction meet with spear-like words and battle just to show whose words could hurt the most instead of hunting for fruits and game in the forest to feed the hungry citizens.

It is rather unfortunate that almost the whole of 2012 was devoted to dirty campaigning, woyomizing, sabotaging, you name them, and we jumped into another year faced with real issues of water, electricity, gas and other basic needs and yet a great country like Ghana with able sons and daughters who have demonstrated greatness and ability in many nations yet cannot come together on a table and think of solving major concern of the compatriots simple because they have been blinded, divided and segregated by political colors making the national colors a mere mirage.

Are we going to devote the whole of 2013 and may be beyond to the supreme court case?. Can't the Judiciary handle that without the whole country grinding to a halt? IF We really believe in the rule of law then the judiciary should be able to show maturity in handling this case all in the name of FREEDOM AND JUSTICE for the sake of mother Ghana and not because of allegiance to any political colors.

Shame unto you if all you are looking for in this article is to tell which side I belong because you wont get me. I have spat the political bile that has clouded the objectivity of many sycophants. I speak for sake of mother Ghana.

What if Nana Addo is the true compatriot who has passion to move this country to the direction that we all desire as a nation yet he missed the chance because of "the claimed rigging"? Let the court decide. Except we are afraid that the court itself wears the same masks as the " political players" themselves. Then that would be very unfortunate. What I do condemn is all attempts to bring his name and reputation down by all propagandist means all because of this "dirty game" If he truly wasn't a lawyer but climbed the ladder to become an attorney then that is also unfortunate but if it is a means to maneuver to score political points to divert attention then it is more unfortunate.

What if Mahama is truly the elected president and the one to lead the country forward. Let the court decide. Must we boycott everything? Must we sabottage and criticize him over everything. If the claim by NPP, MP that Bawomia's accident was government engineered was just to score a political point then its an off-side goal.

What if the free Education policy by NPP is the best must NDC never adopted because it came from the "opposition". What if to solve Ghana's energy crises gurus from both sides will have to sit at a table and brainstorm for the line of action? What if there are more competent men out there who are neither NPP nor NDC, must they not be called even if the have answers to some of the questions we have.

Ghana has all it takes to take off, it is still crawling because of you and I. We are pulling the strings at opposite direction so there is no progress. Lets call the spade a spade for once!!!!!!!!!

GOD BLESS GHANA.

Dr. (would be ) John Placide GUIATIN.

Finally the Continuation of the 3* STAR STORY from Placidonian collections!

OH MEN! PART 2

When Angela got home that evening waiting for the final call from the hospital that the man that means everything to her is finally gone, she opened the letter to see what her dearest husband, brother, father and her all in all had put on paper for her. Hmmm! What a shock! The content of the letter was unbelievable! Some secrets are better when kept and never unveiled. Angela has just got the worst shock of her life! When she managed to raise her head to see the picture of James hanging on the wall, tears began to melt from her frozen face eroding through her chest with pains.

How could he have done that? And he hid this from me all these years? Me? Her wedded wife....? She was speaking to herself in the hall as if the pendulum of her mind has began losing its balance when suddenly a call came from the hospital. She pounced on the telephone like a hungry lion pouncing on a prey! Her voice was choked with anger as she cried out to the nurse: " Pleaseeeeeee don't tell me my husband is dead already because...... because..... I will..... Kill him myself"

The nurse was calling to inform her that her husband has miraculously recovered from his critical condition. He seems well all of a sudden! The doctors and other staff of the hospital cannot fathom or decipher that sudden turn of his condition. What can the nurse say again. She just said : "Madam I think i will have to call you back!" She could sense danger! She quickly informed the doctor in charge! He quickly called the home line again and again but no one answered?

James could now speak well at least he asked for water and food when he woke up! His doctor then went close to him and tapped him gently saying! "What was inside the letter you gave me to be given to your wife? " Was there any deadly secret in that letter?

James was stupefied. He replied: "Doctor what letter are you talking about?" Did my wife write me a letter?" The doctor was very silent! He knew something was wrong but could not tell what it was? Was James conscious about what he wrote at all?
When the doctor realized that whatever James said or did during his critical condition could be associated with a clinical disorder that he himself will have to research more into. He asked him him one last question! What is your home address?
"25, Kimby street. But tell me doctor is my family ok? is there anything I must know?" James replied. "All is well your wife will be here soon the children too are school!"

James looked at the electronic calender and saw it was a Sunday. So he knew something was wrong. When did his children start going to school on Sundays. The doctor too was acting weird. The point was, the Doctor feared his wife could commit su***de. James might have written something crazy to her. How will he explain that to a man who just miraculously recovered from a strange or alien ailment outside the contours known to health conditions. His muscles were still weak but his heart just gained strength when he realized his family may be at risk. So he cried out! "Doctor I want to see my wife now! Take me home now"

Per the hospital's regulations and judging from how fragile his health was James was not suppose to leave the hospital but the circumstances demanded it. Sometimes you have to break the rules. The doctor connived with one nurse to smuggle James out of the hospital to his house.

Had they delayed 30 seconds it would have been too late. If the doctor went alone to the house too as he was planning to do, it would have been impossible for him to enter because she had locked all the doors. Since James was the man of the house he had a spare key hidden under a flower pot. When they dashed in, Angela was just about taking in some deadly poison. She told the kids to go to their uncles house earlier on so that she could carry on with her......

It was hard for her to believe that all that James wrote did not happen. The doctor had to explain that its as strange as how he miraculously recovered. They will have to do more research on his health and everything else! Remember just as there is flash back there could be flash forward. This is my own lay man's wording! I leave that to the medical experts.

Angela later realized in the letter that most of the names of the places could not be located on earth. So she finally believed that her husband might have written that letter whiles in another strange world. She welcomed him back and that was the end of the storm. They lived happily after!

I know you are still wondering what the content of the letter was but I will not tell you. One of my gifts to my readers is suspense. I can give it to you at the beginning of my stories, at the middle or at the end. I know its sometimes annoying but thats how its suppose to be. I want you to have wild imaginations! Flash backs and flash?forwards. Hope you enjoyed the story!

The END!!!!
Story by John Placide.
This story was a pure imaginative one! Shalom to my readers!
