This is the supreme destination for people who are looking to truly relax during their vacations. There is not many sites in Koufonisia, except swimming in the crystal waters and hiking. More than any other place in Greece, Meteora is where nature and spirituality converge most spectacularly.
Kastraki (meaning ‘small castle’) is a small, peaceful village that from afar looks like an eagle’s nest at the bottom of the gigantic rocks of Meteora. The whole settlement rests literally among the giant cliffs and it was first established back in the 16th century.

One of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades and of the whole Mediterranean Sea. It is an island for nature lovers and for those who love quietness, simplicity but at the same time comfort. Thanks to its volcanic origin, it has over 70 beaches of different nature and colors, waters of unique beauty and triumphal dawns and sunsets.

Milos is the most Western island of the Cyclades, not far from other known islands like Santorini and Sifnos. It is part of an archipelago, which includes the islands of Kimolos, Antimilos, Poliegos and the small islands of Glaronissia, and Akradies. Exploring the archipelago is a colored dream to discover, renting one of the many boats doing this service.

Milos has a millennial history, a residential population of about 6.000 people, and its territory allows you to vary your holiday, from choosing your peaceful beach, your trekking path, a typical restaurant, a museum and the site where the Venus of Milos was discovered. One typical characteristic is the exploitation of the various minerals. Mines are still present and represent by themselves an occasion to visit them All at hand and with a soft rhythm.

At the first sight, everyone inevitably steps on the brake pedal, to admire the dramatic natural landscape which is enhanced by the picturesque quality of the town built in a more recent past. The view is astonishing. Over the calm waters of a wide, rocky bay, white flat-roofed houses rise up a slope from a golden, schallow, sandy beach, forming a light belt around the north side of the castle hill. The mighty castle of the Acropolis of is enthroned above. 💙

The famous lagoon of Balos is located approximately 56km northwest of Chania and 17km northwest of Kissamos, formed between the Cape Gramvousa and the small Cape Tigani and below the range of Platiskinos.
