Χρόνια πολλά! Today is Greek Independence Day 🇬🇷. This commemorates the start of the war of independence in 1821 when the Greeks rose up against the Ottoman Empire which had occupied Greece for almost 400 years.

We are very excited that the excellent Greek series 'Maestro in Blue' is available on Netflix worldwide from today. Set mainly on Paxos, it tells the story of a music teacher who comes to the island to lead a music festival. If you look carefully, there are a few familiar faces too.

A musician goes to lead a festival on a scenic island, where he begins an unexpected romance and finds himself entwined in other people's problems.
