The Space

We've chosen the name "Old Pear" because there is literally an old pear tree outside of the apartment. The whole house is over 60 years old and throughout the years, it's been renovated a couple of times. At the moment, everything is new and modern, except for the old pear tree we decided to leave there to act as a reminder of the past. Guest Access

Guests can use the whole apartment a

nd when the time allows them, they can also use a huge terrace in front of the house for meals or just hanging out. Interaction with Guests

We offer transportation from your place of arrival to my apartments. This includes railway station, bus station, tram station and even airport (for a small fee :)). The Neighborhood

The neighborhood is situated in a quiet part of the town, mostly surrounded by family houses. In a 50m radius from the apartment you have a market shop, a cafe and a restaurant that offers continental traditional Croatian meals. If you like mountain biking or hiking, in a 300m radius north of the apartment you'll find bike and trekking trails that lead to Zagreb's famous mountain Sljeme and Medvednica. The trails are suitable for children and older people. Getting Around

The apartment offers two private parking spaces that are always available for our guests. The bus station is located 50m from the house, using local transportation you will only spend around 15 minutes to get to the center of Zagreb. If you want, we can arrange city bikes so you can bike your way around Zagreb. Other Things to Note

We have a beautiful golden retriever that will surely be happy to greet you.

Kao i u proteklim godinama naši gosti su prepoznali naš trud i nagradili nas još jednom izvrsnom ocjenom.

Wind Orchestra of Zagreb Electric Tram - 21. and 28.August., 18. i 25.Semptempe, and 2. October ---> 11am - 12pm

DORA and PAVLE, Zagreb’s Romeo and Juliet will share their unfortunate love story with you, and LJUDEVIT GAJ and SIDONIJA RUBIDO ERDÖDY will tell you about the Illyrian movement in Croatia. KNIGHTS of the Silver Dragon will present their skills just like in the ancient Dark Ages, while the CITY GUARD will be there to protect you.

Upper Town, Strossmayer promenade ---> 23 May 2014 - 15 September 2014

In one of the most romantic parts of Zagreb’s Upper town (Gornji grad) – the Strossmayer promenade – an event with free daily ethno, jazz, soul, rock and other concerts is held. A fine arts colony and other interesting sights are also on offer to visitors. As part of Summer at the Stross, some bigger traditional events are also organised, such as a countdown to the half-year with celebration fireworks, a beauty pageant for mixed-breed dogs and a fashion show by students from Zagreb’s schools for textile and design.
