🚨THE HANG TOUGH OPEN CALL 2022🚨
We will announce all the details of our annual Open Call Instagram competition next week. This is the official route for new artist collaborations with our gallery as we seek to connect with the most exciting artists across both Ireland and the continent of Europe.
Selected artists will be awarded prizes to include solo shows, selection for group exhibitions, print publishing contracts and supportive cash awards to assist with the artist’s practice.
This inspiring competition is open to ALL artists. From established senior artists to mid-career artists as well as the most promising emerging artists.

It has been a challenging but thoroughly enjoyable journey for the gallery project. The close and continued relationships built between our exhibited artists and our growing HTC community makes it all worthwhile. Offering a cultural destination in the heart of a busy city would be impossible without the support of our artists, art lovers, collectors and followers. Thank you ALL for showing up to our shows and for supporting our exhibitions. Hang Tough Editions is delighted to announce our '𝙈𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙏𝙪𝙗𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙚' which launches next 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 - with all profits going to the Scoop Foundation Emergency Ukraine Fund.
Feeling Lucky? Here's how it works:
The '𝙈𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙏𝙪𝙗𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙚' will feature prints from over 70 artists, and will comprise of older Hang Tough editions, releases and collections. You will be able to purchase a 'Mystery Tube Token' priced at just €50, and in return you'll receive a beautiful print which has been signed, numbered, and embossed from our extensive gallery archive - however you won't know what you're going to get until you open the tube!
Each fine-art print is of the highest quality and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, and both Hang Tough and the artists will be forfeiting any commision in order to donate to the Scoop Foundation Emergency Ukraine Fund (the base cost of paper and ink will be taken from each sale, along with VAT).
The '𝙈𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙏𝙪𝙗𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙚' is a first for Hang Tough, and a fantastic opportunity to acquire some unique (and potentially unexpected!) artwork, while donating to and supporting a truly worthwhile cause. The enthusiasm with which our customers embraced and supported our previous donation initiative was truly staggering, and we hope to be able to continue this. Please note, all sales are final, and prints are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.Shipping and framing on all Mystery Tube Sale products are available, at an additional cost.

2021 Round Up at Hang Tough Contemporary
As 2021 draws to a close, we are taking this moment to pause and reflect on an incredible year for Hang Tough Contemporary and Hang Tough Editions. We launched 2 online print collections and published print runs for a number of our favourite artists. We hosted 12 exhibitions, championing Irish talent whilst also introducing some international artists across our Lennox Street Studio Gallery, Coppinger Row pop-up Gallery and our permanent exhibition space, No. 4 Exchequer St. It was a challenging schedule but thoroughly rewarding. We connected with so many wonderful artists and shared their works with our ever growing community.
We would like to thank all of our artists and collaborators for working with us this year. Thank you to the incredible Hang Tough studio and gallery team who make these events possible. Most importantly, thank you to all of you! The collectors, the exhibition goers, the sharers, our followers and our community of art lovers. Ireland has so much visual art to offer and we hope to share as much of this talent over the coming years, inspiring new generations of artists and assisting established artists alike.
We are looking forward to 2022 with another exciting year planned, packed with solo and group exhibitions from Irish and international artists as well as our Open Call 2022.

The event is spread across 8 stores within South City Markets which was the first purpose built Victorian Shopping Centre.
Each store will be offering a treat and promotion for shoppers. We’ll have a mulled wine to warm you up and an even hotter 15% discount off frames for prints from our '𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐖'. We’ll be framing these while you sip and wait!

That was an amazing turn out for "𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗬𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗗" last night! The response to David Booth’s paintings is staggering. Thank you to all who joined us for the launch last night.
The show is running through till November 7th so there’s plenty of time to come view this incredible body of work.
