Seasons greetings from Mill Cottage, and wishes for a Happy and Healthy New Year. We wish to extend a special Thank You to all who have been guests at the Cottage, particularly those families who made it a regular holiday home. Mill Cottage is under some alterations and renovations at the moment, with a view to making it our permanent home. This means we shall not be letting out the cottage in the future.

Today has been a tough day for everyone...
The weather is bad (no fault of ours)

What our staff have had to deal with today is absolutely not acceptable....
Please do not take it out on our staff if we are BOOKED OUT!

Treat our staff with respect please....
This is a hard time for everyone..........
We would only love to welcome you all in....... We've taken a massive hit already but our staff and customers safety is of paramount importance.

If you travel without checking if time slots are available then it is no fault of ours

We are not risking the safety of our team members and our customers and we hope you understand this. We're really trying our best

The Railway Tavern Bar

On behalf of my mom Ann and my brothers Brian, Darragh and Eoghan, I bring to you the sad news that my dad, Mike O' Neill sadly passed away yesterday afternoon.

My dad was one of a kind. He loved his garden, his VW beetles, his Irish music, his native Kerry, his family and his many many dear friends. But above all else, he loved Life. He had the most wonderful zest for Life.

He climbed mountains, walked beaches, drove around in his beloved beetle, reveled in every Trad session and grabbed at opportunities everytime he could.

He will be remembered by strangers who only met him once for a quick drink on the way back West. He would welcome them and fill them with so much information to make sure they got to see and do everything this mighty county has to offer.

He will be remembered by all of our seasonal visitors, or what he used to call, 'Our local tourists', who no doubt have great stories to tell of him.

He will be remembered by all of our tremendous community here in Camp. He loved this little village and was so involved in it and keeping it's history alive.

He will be remembered by all of our wonderful locals and neighbours. You are the ones who kept this show on the road. He appreciated every single one of you.

He will be remembered so very fondly by his many true friends. He had the best of them. You all know who you are and we thank you for always being there for him and for us.

He has so many friends from different aspects of his life. The Air Corps, Campfest and many many more.
I know all of you have wonderful stories and memories of this amazing man. We will make sure that we get to hear them all when we can.

He is an irreplaceable character, a right rogue, our Boss Man and above all else he was the best dad in the world.

I hope you are catching up with your buddies up there dad. I'd say the craic is mighty.
Keep smiling, keep playing that whistle and keep her country. We will do the best we can here to make you proud.

Love,
Tracy x

No better way to spend a summer afternoon in Kerry.

Only a few weeks now to the start of our 2020 season. We are open for bookings on our website www.marinetours.ie. The spring season here is a fabulous time to get out on the water with a good chance of seeing common dolphins, the first minke whales of the season and the iconic basking sharks availing of the early spring plankton bloom. Not long now...
