We are looking for an experienced General Administrative Person to join our team. The main responsibilities will include taking HGV/PSV/ LCV CVRT bookings and payments, managing stock control, ordering parts and dealing directly with suppliers in relation to any issues with stock supply. This position may suit someone with previous HGV/ PSV experience with excellent customer service skills. This is a permanent position starting 1st April.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
A basic understanding of HVG/PSV/LCV parts stock and stock taking
Knowledge of purchasing procedures
Competent IT skills
Excellent Communications skills
Previous experience in a similar role

DUTIES
Checking quality of stock on arrival for quality control
Ensuring secure stock control of all stores items
Updating the system when stock is sold or used within own fleet
Housekeeping duties within Store room and Test Centre Office.
Physically transfer parts between work areas when required by mechanics
Liaising with office staff raising PO’s for purchasing
Liaising with office staff raising invoices to clients
Communicating daily with management
Managing Jobs cards and dealing directly with Mechanics
Ensuring maintenance records are logged correctly
Inputting data onto the companies ‘Fleetminder system’
Scheduling 6 weekly checks on own fleet
Taking bookings for HGV/ PSV/ LCV CVRT
Taking payment for HGV / PSV/ LCV CVRT
Any other duties as assigned from time to time by your Manager (which maybe in any other area of the Company)

SKILLS PROFILE
Fluent English (Oral & Written)
Excellent telephone manner
Well organised and well presented
Ability to work well with others
Ability to use computer systems
Must have your own transport or means of travel to Urlingford
Leaving Cert or equivalent

WORKING HOURS
Monday – Friday
0830 hrs – 1700 hrs
1 hour for lunch
CLOSED SATURDAY & SUNDAY
