Israel Public Diplomacy is the process of advancing Israel's interests through partnerships, to understand outside perception of Israel and to explain Israel's policies and goals. The Israel Public Diplomacy Program is a Semester Abroad program in Israel which teaches both the theoretical and practical aspects of Israel Public Diplomacy. The program offers the opportunity to study 6 courses in Eng
lish and receive 18 university credits from Gratz College, Pennsylvania. The lecturers are all experts in their respective subjects, and currently work and teach in those fields. There are five 4-day seminars held in historical and strategic locations throughout Israel; these seminars will increase your knowledge of and appreciation for Israel, and the foreign experience you acquire here will be invaluable to you as you graduate from university and start your career. Included are also sessions run by Stand With Us and Honest Reporting, as well as Public Diplomacy seminars held by representatives of Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Israel Public Diplomacy is endorsed by a number of organizations, such as several Jewish Federations in the US, Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Israel on Campus Coalition. We have also established partnerships with several organizations including: The David Project, Honest Reporting, Stand With Us and Masa (Masa is a joint project of the Israeli government and the Jewish Agency for Israel).
