The temple is located 230 kms South-East of Chennai, on the way to Kumbakonam and 20kms east of Vridachalam.

The temple was built over a 1,000 years ago. But God descended here many yugas back.
Tiruvannamalai is considered the holy place for Lord Agni, among the Pancha Bhoothas - the five elements.
Other temples being Chidambaram-Air, Tiruvanaikovil-Water, Kanchipuram-Land and Sri Kalahasthi-Wind.
The King, his chief architect and the team which built the Tiruvannamalai temple wouldn’t have imagined that one day, a drone cameraman make this video, yet built the temple in absolute symmetry and without any expectations.
And we still believe that today’s Western Education system is superior than ours… sigh.
For the record, there is NO such man made structure that exists anywhere in the world which are this old…
And there are atleast 3,000 such structures in Tamil Nadu which are over 1,000 years old.
