reputed authors and dedicated and experienced teachers. The commerce department of the college has made remarkable progress over the years and has earned the distinction of being one of the best departments in Delhi University. The department every year, through a rigorous interview procedure and with the involvement of the senior teachers, extracts the most efficient students forming the well renowned Commerce Society. Presently the Society is a constitution of 51 dedicated members, headed by our convener Dr Sonal Sharma and the head of the department Dr Krishan Sachdeva. The Commerce Society and its editorial board blend the academic and cultural pursuit of the commerce students by organising different events in the likes of seminars, lectures, trips, annual departmental fest, fresher’s and farewell, along with the publication of the department's annual magazine - De Facto.
