Shanti Stupa is one of the magnificent Tibetan structures that has ever been built. The architecture and the beauty of this place are unexplainable. Shanti Stupa is a white-dome structure dedicated to Buddhism. This brilliant structure stands atop a steep hilltop at a dizzying height of 11,841 feet above sea level. This dominating altitude of the Stupa allows it to offer picturesque views of its beautiful surroundings and hence, draws the attention of thousands of tourists every year. It's a nearby place from LeH Market n you can easily avail cabs at Rs 200 - 400 to reach there. While going I hired a taxi however while coming back I took lift from one of the monk in Stupa who took me to show another Monastery with him. This is what I love about travelling solo. So after a hectic day I walked around the LeH Palace n while climbing found this location, an open wooden frame window from where you could get a glimpse of LeH beauty. I sat here to take some air. While admiring d surrounding I so wished that somebody could click me here. As no one was around I started clicking pics in self mode.Thats 's d best I can do while traveling solo. Fortunately I heard someone's footstep climbing d stairs. She was a beautiful Russian woman. We both sat for sometime n chatted for a while. N then she clicked this pic. Thanks a ton to her. Strangers are so much better at times is what I feel.
