Himalayas, Sikkim is notable for its biodiversity, including alpine and subtropical climates. A land of pristine scenic beauty , Sikkim looks like a poem straight out of William Wordsworth's book. Places like Tsongmo Lake, Bhaley Dhunga(Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary),Pelling,Barsey,Zuluk, Yuksam,Namchi, Rabongla,Temi Tea,Dzongri and Goecha-La are like slices of heaven on earth.
From the North Bengal to the South and East to the West , Sikkim is adorned with historical and cultural sites ,like the Rabdentse ruins in Pelling.
The best time to visit SIKKIM would be either between Jan - June or October and mid-December.

Monsoon in Sikkim makes it all the more beautiful and worth visiting. There’s a lot to explore in Sikkim, whether it be Pilgrimage Tourism, Heritage Tourism, Lakes, waterfall and glaciers or adventurous activities such as Trekking. The place feels like heaven because of the scenic beauty that enhances all the more at the time of monsoons. One can spot rare species of birds at this time.The wonderful views surrounding the Pristine Khecheoperii Lake, the short trek towards the rabdentse ruins , and the smell of pure wet soil, are not only refreshing but will be a great get away from the city. Places like the tea estate at Temi Tarku, Hot Water Spring at Borong and the peaceful roads of West Sikkim, accompanied by waterfalls and scenic mountains, would be worth spending every time on.
