This office makes GU a “place like home” by taking care of the needs of international students, so that they feel welcome here and enjoy their India experience. It also acts as the liaison between the international student community, professors and the different Schools and Departments at GU. The International Office provides information, guidance and advice on all matters related to overseas stu

dent admissions and courses of study and also assists with formalities related to admissions, immigration etc. and serves as the nodal point for information and assistance to all International students and visitors. The International Office assists with:
• Admission formalities and registration for new students.
• Arranging for pick up of international students and visitors from the airport on arrival.
• Assisting with accommodation for international students.
• Welcome and Orientation Program for new students.
• Help with visa extensions and alien registration.
• Counseling services for problems relating to personal, professional or cultural issues.
• Academic support apart from classroom instruction to international students in subjects they have difficulty with through the Enhanced Learning Centre (ELC).
• Facilitation of English language training for students from Non-English speaking countries.
• Providing international students a platform to display their talents and the culture of their country through the International Students Club
