The imposing Kangra Fort which gave this valley its name changed hands from the Katoch dynasty, to the Mughals, and finally the British. Fierce battles were fought and one such was during the attempted invasion by Muhammad Bin Tughlaq whose entire army of 10,000 was decimated. It is also in the lap of the Kangra valley under the reign of Sansar Chand, a Katoch king, that 36 workshops were set up to patronize a motley of artists. Of them all, the Kangra School of Painting which produced 40,000 paintings etched his name in history.

When you travel by bus, do you notice the man who sits by the door? You would have seen him every time you board the bus. Even if you miss him, there's hardly a chance he will miss you! They are the bus conductors.

In India, bus conductors are the unsung heroes of the bustling streets. Clad in distinctive uniforms, these multitaskers collect fares, issue tickets, and maintain order. Navigating the chaos of Indian traffic, they handle passenger queries, provide route information, and manage transactions with remarkable efficiency. Beyond their duties, they often become familiar faces, fostering a sense of community among regular commuters.

Our inquisitiveness drives us daily, inspiring our brilliant team to create unique and exceptional experiences for our clients. In our constant endeavor to evolve and enrich ourselves, we ventured out to explore Old Delhi with our partners, Gagan and the Expert Robinson, from Tallis Tours. This walking tour of the historic city of Shahjahanabad beautifully illustrated Indian identity and multiculturalism. Architectural marvels adorn every corner, with traces of various empires in the storied streets and the aromas of Biryani and Kebabs filling the air. The walk took us through, a Baptist church, Sisganj Gurudwara - a Sikh Temple, followed by next door Sunehri Masjid, continuing through Ballimaran's plentiful bakeries and chai shops, wandering towards Jama Masjid and its vibrant bazaars.

We wrapped up the evening, visiting the fabulous Haveli Dharampura and Golden Haveli, where the warmth and hospitality extended by the ever-smiling Joseph and Vidyun was next to none! No wonder, all our clients have a wonderful time here and have nothing but praises for the UNESCO awarded Heritage Haveli.

As the lean period of travel approaches, it was an ideal time to engage with the busiest and crucial bunch of our Team, The Customer Support Executives - The Face of the company. We took this opportunity to familiarize them with the tour by the well-known famous Food Vlogger .sapra , who believes that each street and lane of Delhi is imbued with a history of gastronomic glory, offering the flavors of heritage, tradition and a passion for food that has been shaped over eras, across borders. While Anubhav was as exuberant as always, amongst all the unavoidable selfie request from locals, but, was also very subtle with the narration, making it easier to understand for the novice bunch of us! However, on the other hand, we did not show much mercy digging into the famous lip-smacking street food of Old Delhi ranging from the famous Samosa, Kachauri, Chhole Bhaturey & Jalebi to the much sought after epicurean delights like Shami Kebab, Biryani, Chicken Tikka, Rumali rotis topping up with the flavored fruit ice creams to end a fun-filled evening of Gastronomical delight! And, to ensure that the objective of the exercise is not lost amongst all the food melee, we educated our young and energetic team members with the whole concept of the unique tour experience and addressed all their inquisitiveness to enhance their knowledge about the city and their effervescent food habits in the process!
