Sharing some of our special moments with the students of Sankardev Sishu Niketon Sasoni, we Northeast Birding Tours has always been trying to give our best on Conservation-as we all are dependent on each other as like we all have studied Environmental Science but none of us has gave much importance of the subject, but all the topics which we read-Food Chain,Food Web, Pollution, Sustainable Development, Climate change and many more..But we believe that if we keep interaction with the youngsters then definitely we can work more and more on Conservation and Protection.
Just a small interaction with the students where we all had assemble on the field and the started our plantation drive by our students and teachers. Then after we had a walk near by the village to show how beautiful our nature is and then showed some birds which they are very familiar to some local birds, after that we had our refreshment and started our Indoor session where Madhab Gogoi had a one to one interaction and then distributed some utensils so the students and the teachers. At last we ended our Environment Day by Jatiya Hangeet: O MUR APUNAR DEKH.

Fulvetta is a genus of passerine birds. Originally proposed in 1877, it was recently reestablished for the typical fulvettas, which were long included with their presumed relatives in the Timaliidae genus Alcippe. But they are actually quite closely related to the parrotbills, and are thus now placed in the family Paradoxornithidae.

Spelaeornis, the typical wren-babblers, is a bird genus in the family Timaliidae. Among this group, the typical wren-babblers are quite closely related to the type species, the chestnut-capped babbler (Timalia pileata). One species that was earlier placed in the genus, the spotted elachura has been removed to a genus of its own Elachura and placed in a separate family.

Global Tiger Day, often called International Tiger Day, is an annual celebration to raise awareness for tiger conservation, held annually on 29 July. The goal of the day is to promote a global system for protecting the natural habitats of tigers and to raise public awareness and support for tiger conservation issues. International Tiger Day has been shown to be effective in increasing online awareness on tigers through information search.

India is home to nearly 70% of the world's tiger population. Every year the day is celebrated under different themes, and this year the theme for Global Tiger Day is “India launches Project Tiger to revive the tiger population"
Their survival is is our hand.

Shortwings from Northeast India.

The shortwings are colourful medium-sized mostly insectivorous birds in the genus Brachypteryx of the thrush family Turdidae, although some taxonomists place them in the Old World Flycatcher family Muscicapidae.
