The story of our Aiyamma and her Bangles 😍.

The female population of Andipamdaram community is engaged in selling glass bangles in various parts of Palakkad. Considered one of the Tamil culture influenced customs during the festive season in Palakkad, Aiyamma goes to every house in the village selling glass bangles. The bangles were initially made within the community but gradually the tradition was lost due to various reasons. The culture is seemed to have diminished with time, but even now, during the festive season, little girls wait for Aiyamma to come home.

Our tours take you through the stories of such wonderful human beings less known. It creates an opportunity for people like Aiyamma to showcase thier stories. If you love to meet Aiyyama and see her bangles, kindly do not hesitate to DM our team.

Agraharam Part-1.

👉 Kolam is traditionally made with rice flour that becomes food for ants and birds.
👉 It is a form of artistic expression.
👉 Doing artistic work early in the morning is a great boost to manage the hard work rest of the day.
👉 It enables teamwork and social interactions.
👉Connect with culture.
👉Finally, kolams are also a way to keep people more active. Kolam is a great exercise.

Hop on a bicycle for a two-day expedition to explore the stories along its canals, all blended together in surprising and delightful ways. Immerse in the beauty and simplicity, as you traverse along lush green paddy fields, rustic villages, cultural vibrancy, as well as its life and lore like never before.

When: 21st and 22nd January 2023.

Difficulty level: Intermediate

Distance: Covering 30 km per day very slowly.
