Note : After having been hemmed in for almost a year, there is a widespread desire to breakout from the shackles of the dreaded Covid-19.
However, keeping in view the concerns related to travel during the pandemic and the pace of roll-out of the vaccines, Holiday Bash has decided, therefore, to offer only limited number of Domestic & International tours this year.

Warmest Greetings from Holiday Bash International, Pune
Even though the availability of vaccine is a few months away, we are encouraged to suggest that we are past the peak and can start planning travel. With patience running out and herd immunity setting in, the time is fast approaching to break free from the shackles of the dreaded Covid.
With international travel being unavailable and inadvisable, we at HBI have taken this time to re-focus and prepare for a season of domestic travel to unravel our own rich heritage and culture as that is what is prudent under the new normal as of now. Accordingly, in keeping with safety requirements and the pent up desire to travel, we have planned a couple of breathtaking domestic itineraries to kick start the latent wander lust.
The first in the series of Break Free Tours is one in Karnataka to visit the famous world heritage sites of Hampi, Helibedu, Belur and Badami and several other less known but equally marvellous sites of Ancient India. This tour will leave you spellbound and yearning for more. Rest assured that you are unlikely to find any parallel on the internet as this itinerary is exclusive, out of box and well researched. Moreover, where possible, we have hand- picked the best Govt of India approved guides so as to derive the very best from your trip to the wonders of Ancient India.
As many of the places we stay in are relatively small and have limited facilities, it is imperative that we book at the earliest but not later than 30 Nov 2020. This also implies that we be prepared to limit the size of the group as also be prepared for vegetarian South Indian food at several places.
The first tour commences from Hyderabad on 07 Jan 2021 and concludes at Bangalore on 17 Jan 2021.

Hello friends. We at Holiday Bash International have watched with concern the spread of the pandemic and it's effect on travel worldwide. We have the health of our clients uppermost in our mind and ,as such, have given all tours in 2020 a pass.

Notwithstanding this, we are cautiously optimistic that we shall be up and running in 2021 and be able to offer tours as hitherto fore. Even though we are planning on resuming our worldwide tours in 2021, we shall keep a keen lookout for the containment measures being adopted at our destinations so as to ensure that you are safe against Covid 19.
Meanwhile, we are busy updating our tour itineraries so as to provide an even richer experience than before,

A wonderful trip where we saw not only the religious facets but also how the tiny country has so many positives. 2. 16 May – 30 May 2018 : Mansarowar & Kailash Parbat Yatra (15 Days – 1 night each in Shanghai on way out and on return)
In case, all members of group decide to only go up to Mansarowar and not do the Parikarma of the Kailash Parbat (which involves a tough 2 day hike / ride on yaks or ponies) then the tour can be reduced by two Days.
This tour includes a Parikarma of Mansarowar by road, but in case the whole group wants to do this Parikarma on foot , an additional 4 Days would be required.
Tour is NOT open to those with existing heart / breathing problems.
3. 25 May – 30 May 2018 : Tibet including Train Journey on Highest Train in the World (6 Days) with extensions possible of Tour of China (12 Days)
Journey on the fully pressurised Highest Train in the World is an exquisite experience as we go through an area of primafrost. Moreover, it is an engineering marvel !
Tour is NOT open to those with existing heart / breathing problems.

Qatar Offers Visa-Free Entry to
80 Nationalities

Qatar has introduced a visa-free entry program to 80 nationalities in an effort to boost travel and tourism amid its ongoing diplomatic crisis with neighbouring nations.
The new visa waiver program is effective with immediate effect and includes India amongst these countries. Nationals of the 80 eligible countries will only need a valid passport to gain entry to Qatar.

This provision is valid for 30 days from the date of issuance for Indian nationals and entitles its holder to spend up to 30 days in Qatar, during either a single trip or on multiple trips. This waiver may be extended for a further 30 days.

Facial recognition technology to soon replace passports at Australian airports
It is learnt that new technology will be rolled out at Australian airports that will eventually see the end of "known passengers" producing their passports when arriving in the country.
Minister for Immigration and Border Protection Peter Dutton said that they have gone in for a AU$22.5 million, three-year contract which will initially see 105 new smart gates rolled out that will enable passengers to be processed using facial recognition.
"The idea of this will be, through new technology that is using facial recognition, that in some cases if you've got a passport that can be read you won't even have to present the passport," Mr Dutton said. "It will make it much quicker going through the immigration”.

Travel Leaders Group agents nationally indicate the following as the "up and coming" international destinations within Europe, the Pacific, Asia/Southeast Asia and Central/South America.

Europe "Up and Coming": Croatia (25.6%), Iceland (14.8%), Turkey (13.6%), Czech Republic (12.1%) and Portugal (12.0%). Last year Iceland was fifth on this list with 9.9%.

Pacific "Up and Coming": New Zealand (30.1%), Tahiti (16.9%), Fiji (13.0%), Bora Bora (11.5%), and Australia – Queensland (5.9%). New Zealand continues to capture the public imagination through high profile films like "The Hobbit : The Desolation of Smaug." It should also be noted that if Australia wasn't broken out by state, it would be second behind New Zealand with 18.1%.

Asia/Southeast Asia "Up and Coming": Vietnam (38.0%), Burma/Myanmar (11.9%), Maldives (11.4%), Seychelles (8.6%), and Indonesia (7.4%). Last year the list, in order, was: Vietnam, Indonesia, Burma/Myanmar, Cambodia, and Malaysia.

Central/South America "Up and Coming": Peru (17.6%), Brazil (16.8%), Panama (16.3%), Ecuador and Galapagos Islands (16.0%), and Argentina (12.2%). Peru is increasingly on more "bucket lists" thanks to Machu Picchu and Brasil in account of Iguazzu Falls.
