Happy nowruz to people of the world. . 😍💕🌱 Nowruz is the Iranian new year which marks the very moment that spring begins. It's celebrated in Iran and also other countries which used to be parts of ancient Persian Empire. Here👆 is the photo of our plastic-free Haftsin, by @parisa purranjbar . Haftsin (literally meaning seven S), is the symbolic table of nowruz, set up in Iranian houses, that includes at least seven items that start with the sound "S". The followings are some traditional items of haftsin: 1. Sabzeh: sprouts symbolizing rebirth. 2. Sib: apple, the symbol for health and well being. 3. Samanu: a sweet Persian pudding, the symble of abundance. 4. Sonbol: hyacinth representing spring. 5. Sir: garlic, symbol of the highest spirit. 6. Serkeh: vinegar, symbol of immortality. 7. Senjed: oleaster symbolizes love and affection, Which we couldn't buy this year because of coronavirus self quarantine.🙄 . The song you hear is the most traditional and popular one played at the spring equinox and days afterwards. .
