Il luogo più fotografato di Nesso: il ponte della "Civera" che collega la frazione Coatesa con Riva del Castello. Da questo ponte medievale è possibile ammirare la cascata che si tuffa tra le gole dell'orrido, che grazie alla sua impetuosità generava energia per alcuni oleifici, cartiere e setifici della zona.

Questo luogo attirò anche l'attenzione di Leonardo Da Vinci che nel Codice Atlantico lo descrisse così:

"Nesso, terra dove cade uno fiume con grande empito, per una grandissima fessura di monte"

Booked this gem for a friends vacation to celebrate a milestone birthday. So happy with my choice as it was charming, clean, spacious, and those views! No one in our party had been to Como before so we had a learning curve about the area but once we settled in the access to the mid-Lake ferry and bus schedule proved invaluable.

It towers over the small hamlet of San Giovanni with its quaint harbor, boat landing, pebble beaches, historical church, restaurant, boat slip, grocer, Coffee shop and Enoteca. Relax and enjoy the historical villas across the lake from almost everywhere on the property, including the grassy living room balcony and the terraced fruit-tree garden. If you are in the mood to explore you may walk 15 minutes to visit the amazing gardens of Villa Melzi or take a half hour stroll to downtown Bellagio. Children playground 5 minutes walk from the property. Mid-week cleaning with towel and sheet change, Private Chef upon request, crib, highchair and toddler bed rails available
